They have great food, love the grilled cheese and the potato chips. Husband really likes the reuben. The desserts are very good too and we take them home for later. Nice chefs and staff.

The good: upbeat and trendy for a Fort Wayne eatery. Fun and very cool decor (fun paintings). Great concept with potential. Fort Wayne needs more upbeat businesses like this throughout the city. My wife had the club melt and it was not too bad. The bad: The food is a little over priced for what you get. A few dirty tables in an almost empty restaurant, ours was sticky. I had the Reuben which apparently they are known for and it was a bit on the soggy side. They seem to display all of the small town newspaper reviews that nobody in Fort Wayne reads. Honestly if your food is good that speaks for itself you don't need a trophy wall. If you insist on a trophy wall, place awards not small town reviews in overpriced frames, invest in the food. Also a lot of Miller beer stuff everywhere. Small businesses should really support local craft breweries. The ugly: First and foremost I realize accidents happen. That said, the server was holding too many things while delivering our food and spilled food all over me, staining my clothes. When she returned later in the meal she was in such a hurry to clear plates she didn't realize I was still eating and cleared anyhow. Not a good first impression and management didn't seem to care. Final thought: I want places like this to succeed in Fort Wayne but management and staff training is essential for success.

This is a MUST try for lunch in downtown FW!! The bad news is they are only open for lunch. The good side....the food, service, and décor. CC is located on the west side of the city county building by B&B Loan. They have done a wonderful job renovating an old building. Dinning upstairs gives you a good view of the Fort. The service is very friendly and appreciative that you are there!! I had the daily special Asian chicken salad and shrimp bisque soup - both excellent! My wife's fish tacos were delicious as well. You will like their homemade chips also. You will spend about $8 for lunch though. It's nice to have a salad bar available as well!

Nice lunch spot downtown! Great salad bar and sandwich selections. The sweet potato fries and chips are both delicious! It has the feel of a refurbished yet modern deli that's really cool. There's lots of seating with a second floor and the place has a really nice vibe.

Central City Cafe is a great new addition to the downtown dining landscape. I've eaten there twice and both times were on the rare occasion that they were open on Saturdays. CCC has a great salad bar that was originally promoted as a DIY sandwich and salad bar. The last time I was there, I didn't see the option to make a sandwich, so could be somewhat confusing to customers. I was also under the impression that there would be leaf lettuce on the salad bar that would be large enough to serve as a lettuce wrap for those of us that are gluten free. I've not seen those on either of the two occasions I've been there. The deli meat is also chopped, so it's not real conducive to wrapping to making a sandwich. Having a gluten free bread option would be a nice addition to the menu. The DIY sandwich and salad bar is a unique and fun feature, but I feel like perhaps the original intention has changed. Or perhaps it just needs to explained better with signage on the buffet.

Great selection of paninis, sandwiches, and flatbreads. They have a pay-per-ounce salad and sandwich bar, and to top it off homemade deserts. Free WiFi, a thoroughly friendly staff, and comfortable dining areas make this a lunch time treat in downtown Fort Wayne.
